Good day to you all, first post and I hope you can help. My dad passed away in July and I found a large box of super 8 movie rolls that were of our years of racing snowmobiles in the mid to late 60's family etc but one 50' spool caught my eye. It had written on it Porsche trip! It was the movie when dad and two friends drove out to Salt Lake City Utah and meet the seller that drove in from San Francisco, it seemed to be half way to pick-up his 60 Carrera. There is footage of the car, the dealer in Salt Lake just kinda cool. My question is dad sold the car to a gentleman in Nebraska but I can't find any info about him in dad's home, would anyone here know who I'm talking about because I'm sure he would enjoy having this reel to put with the car. Any help would be most appreciated and thank you in advance.

Nice of you to try and get the movies to the current owner. Bill Brown is a very well known 356 owner and racer in Nebraska- Omaha I think. He has been involved with 356's and Carreras for decades. There is a very good chance he knows the car and even that he bought it.

He is probably a member here, but I don't know his user name. He is a member of the 356 Registry as Bill Brown.
