Default The Rod Emory Story

Hi to all! Yesterday SpeedHunters site made a nice feature for Rod Emory. The story and pictures are great. The article also include the fully restored 356 SL that won it's class in the 1951 running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Enjoy!

I don't know if you guys know or not, but his bike was stolen 5-6 days ago in LA, it was the one matching his trailer behind the 356. On IG he also noted getting rearended in what looked like a GT3RS (maybe GT2?), had a real bad week.

And they found the bike. That being said, i and a friend spoke with his dad for about an hour and a half on Friday at SEMA, apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Cheers to the Emory family and what they do for the brand imo. some aren't pure, some are.

Still looking for that barn find.....

Talking about SEMA, have you seen the great 356 Outlaw with 964 parts and those crazy 'classic' center lock wheels? I'm looking forward to see it finished!
