so I have enjoyed my Polar silver 993 cab for about 5 months now, being my third porsche, it is the car I have always wanted. although it was not my first choice in color, once I saw it I fell in love. No regrets, absolutely love the car. But the color seems to make the car the butt of gay jokes when joking around with the guys. I guess I can see it, but really I just appreciate the color. does anybody seem to experience this?

Huh? I've never had anyone say polar silver is a "gay" color. It's just silver that has a cool hue to it.

So, are you an easy target for gay jokes or jokes in general?

yea my buddies are so well trained in gay jokes that I sometimes can be an easy target. But most of those buddies drive hondas or fords. I guess it is what it is

haha you think that's bad... my best friend and I spent the better part of 6 months cruising around in his PINK on PINK 1992 America Roadster! That was one of the coolest cars either one of us has ever owned. It just happened to be pinkish-purple with matching full pink leather (actually the color was "Ruby Red" metallic if I remember correctly). I'm sure some people thought we were gay, but we were having too much fun to give a sh*t. Now if I can just find a picture...

It's interesting that you mention polar silver = gay. I was just reading a study commissioned by the owners of the artic silver 993 club and the results were very surprising. Evidently, YES, Polar silver = Gay. The article further concluded that if the Polar Silver is also an auto trans, not only is it gay, but a BOTTOM-CATCHER. Furthermore, if it is a Polar Silver, Auto Trans and a Cab, you might want to look into some gender re-assignment surgery.

Now please.. Before the flames all start. This is not my opinion. It is a study that I read. I think you guys in Polar silver all look kind of cute.
