As described it sounds like a well maintained example. However, i wouldn't expect anything close to a "Skyrocket" in 928 values.

BARGAIN price if it is as nice as these tidbits would make one hope it is. And it can be made much faster.

Bill, give the guy a chance... it's his 1st post, let him get to know the car 1st, then we'll talk forced induction!

Welcome to the madhouse. Sounds like a good deal, but I have to ask... did you get a Pre-purchase inspection? These cars can put into the poor house quickly if you're not careful. Hope yours is as described!

Welcome to 89'ers unanimous!! The 2.54 rear end and somewhat revised tranny gearing is probably why the 89 feels livlier than the 87 to you, assuming both are AT's of course. Sounds like a nice car, enjoy it!

Well the timing chain and hoses had been replace 9 months ago. A/c was redone also to r134a specs with all new parts. The radiator was replaced with a new one the front end and rear end bushings replaced. tranny was serviced new stereo etc. The exhaust was done with the replacemetn piece etc. the gentleman who owns just put 9k in to the vehicle he has the receipts all the receipts from day one including orig sticker and purchase order. every part replaced with aftermarket he retained so when i pick it this evening i have to take my suburban to fill it up.

Hey guys what will the new chips do for it?

Hope it was just a typo, but please be aware that you have a timing BELT, not chain. Big difference.

That's a load of work done recently. Is this the original owner?

What chip are you considering? There are some cheap ones on eBay that are of dubious value at best.

Loaded .."who owns just put 9k in to the vehicle " and prior post .."11500

Good deal bad deal?" I think we can say it was a VERY bad deal for the prior owner since he nets only $2,500 on the deal.
