Default FS: 1995 M030 Speed Yellow Coupe/blk interior

I have decided to finally give it a serious try selling this car. I have put maybe 1000 miles in the last 2.5 months. I hate to see it sitting all the time and everytime I am travelling, it makes it easier for me to decide on selling it. So here it is guys:
Genuine original M030 coupe with LSD.
Pinion bearing fixed in last 5k
New GT racing LSD
New windshield
New battery
New Starter
Recent clutch
K&N filter cartridge
Big Reds complete brake setup which included new rotors/pads/calipers, new pads in rear
New/rebuilt control arms
New castor blks
New swaybar bushings
Rebuilt/blueprinted fuel injectors
New ignition coil/distributor/rotor
New spark plug wires/spark plugs
All belts/rollers done within last 20K.
New front/rear wheel bearings
4 wheel alignment/corner balancing
Upgraded to newer M030 suspension with only 48K on it (shocks/struts)
No dings ($900 from painless dent removal)
Seats have less than 25K on it, 8 way pwr with heat

I give it a solid 9.5/10 exterior and 9/10 interior
Driver side door has been painted, besides that the car has never had any other body or paint work done. The paint matches perfectly.
Its been my daily driver and has never left me stranded and has remained garaged the entire time. I bought it with 74K and now it has 95K. I have stopped drivng it since my recent changes at work. When I did a price appraisal on NADA, it came up at approx $18,500 which did not take M030 into account. I am sure you guys know that its as rare as they come.
Before I bought it, Bruce Corwin had all new lifters and variocam put in, plus oil pickup tubes/oil pan gaskets at the tune of approx $3K.
Price is $20k firm.
Serious inquiries only please!

Optional equipment for buyer (will give package price)
Kinesis Supercup wheels in 18x7.5 and 18x10 with new Dunlop 9090 tires (approx 1000 miles)
Black Sports seats, 4 way power
Body color matched factory turbo S polyeurathane splitter
Short Shift Kit
Performance Chip

I will try to take some pictures with the above items.

Raj can you expound on what you meant by this last section. I know someone looking for a nice 968, not sure if yellow is something he will go for as he asked me to keep and eye out for mid blue or blk

I have these items available to the buyer in case they are interested. They are additional money and not part of the original price. I will post some pictures of the car with these parts on.
Hope that clears it.

I know this car well, you'd be crazy not to buy this if you want a very special 968.

i know one potential interested buyer - do you have the orginal M030 brake setup for the car? i understand it is not on the car at the moment, but do you have it?

"upgraded to newer M030 suspension"? what exactly does that mean? did you replace with new M030 components, change to newer but still used stuff, or change the components out to something else

this buyer is looking for authenticity, specifically when it comes to the M030 componentry

I no longer have the original brake setup. The calipers didn't look like could be used much longer without a complete rebuild.
As far as the suspension bits, they were upgraded to used M030 bits from a M030 968 with 43K on it at the time. They are in excellent mechanical and physical shape.
All components except the front brake setup are original 968 M030.
Hope that clears it.

it does - thanks

he will have to decide how important completeness as an M030 car really is to him - he was pretty clear though, that without the original parts, particularly the brakes, it wasn't as collectable to him - he has a pretty specific set of criteria, and he intends to compete the car in a few events that would require only stock components - the big reds, while providing superior capability, would disqualify him

any idea what a new set of M030 brakes would run complete?

i'll pass it along though - defintely a rather rare car no matter which way you look at it

I would think a complete M030 setup would run approx $1200. You can easily sell the Big Red's setup for approx $800. I would even be interested in buying it for $800 as I know its new.
Something to think about...
That is the only part that is non original. A chance to own a car like this in this color doesn't come around everyday. It just doesn't make sense for me and is somewhat redundant with the Turbo S replica (both being coupes).
If I have to keep another porsche, I rather get a cabriolet now or maybe hold out for an E46 M3 with SMG II. In either case, I have finally made up my mind the car has to go, be it this year or next. Everytime I look at it, I feel like changing my mind but its one of those things I will have to get over.

got it - thanks - i'll tell him to source out the M030 stuff

and i know that sentiment all too well - i hung onto a few toys for a while, for no real reason, other than my unwiliness to let them go - finally had to just do it and walk away when i ran out of space

i still miss a couple of them - oh well - i can always buy new ones

It's a beautiful car, Raj. I wish you good luck on the sale.

So, is this Bruce Corwin's old car? Does it come with Bruce's submarine option?

Or how about the snowplow option ?

Oh Raj, why do you tempt me so... I wish I could take it off your hands, but I am afraid that I have other projects with the Boxster and my car that are going to take too much money and time right now. Good luck with the sale.

This is one of the cleanest 968's I've ever seen, I had the pleasure of detailing it once, and can attest to everything that's been said about it. I too wish I had the funds to take it off of Raj's hands, but I have to settle for 1 968! If you are remotely interested in a 968, this is the one to buy, no issues and an honest seller. Good luck, Raj.

Raj, Is this an original M030 car? Or you just added the M030 parts to a non-M030 car?
