With only 3,454 miles on the odometer, Cayman GT4 RS VIN 001 is available for purchase for a cool $220,000, and it’s got some solid options.

The 718 Porsche Cayman GT4 RS is one of the best track-ready sports cars on the planet. With its 911 GT3 RS-borrowed engine, track-tuned suspension geometry, and mid-engine layout, it’s a perfect blend of power, grip, and balance. It’s no surprise, then, that these cars are routinely selling for more than MSRP thanks to markups. This one in particular, though, is extra special.

This particular Cayman GT4 RS, as brought to our attention by CarBuzz, happens to be the first one ever made. It’s currently for sale in Dallas, Texas, with an asking price of $219,900. Sure, that’s a monumental amount of money. It’s even over the car’s MSRP. In this particular case, though, paying over sticker makes a bit more sense, given that it’s the very first customer model. Let’s take a look at what that price tag gets you.

Weissach Package & Plenty of Performance Upgrades

Porsche Cayman GT4 RS Side Profile

Finished in Guards Red with a black interior, this Cayman GT4 RS already looks quite menacing in stock form. However, the buyer of this car optioned it with the Weissach package, which ads exposed carbon fiber exterior elements, including the front trunk lid, the mirror caps, and the rear wing. When new, this was a $13,250 option.

In addition, it has ceramic composite brakes, which cost $8,000 when new. Finally, it also has the $15,640 magnesium wheel option. All said and done, this Cayman GT4 RS had an original MSRP north of $180,000. While that is a lot of money, you’re also getting a lot of car. With 493 horsepower, it can sprint from zero to 60 miles per hour in just 3.2 seconds and, despite its aggressive aero, it’ll roll on to a top speed of 196 miles per hour.

CarBuzz implies that the mileage is representative of the owner having enjoyed some time with the car before putting it up for sale, we think that 3,400 miles is hardly noteworthy. Undoubtedly, though, the owner has taken good care of it.

If You Want One, Why Not Have THE One?

Let’s be real, here. If you’re in the market for a 718 Porsche Cayman GT4 RS, you’re likely not exactly looking to save where you can. In addition, if you’re in the market for a Weissach car, it would make plenty of sense to buy the very first one. That’s especially true if you’re here in the United States.

Overall, while there can only be one new owner of the first Cayman GT4 RS, we’re just happy we got a chance to check it out.
