Taycan Owner Goes Accidental Off-Roading in His Cul-de-Sac

Porsche Taycan Accident

Viral video catches British Taycan owner missing the mark while pulling into the driveway, smashing up all the cars in the neighborhood.

The Taycan means so much to Porsche. After all, it’s the company’s first-ever EV. It’s aimed at those who would’ve bought a Tesla, but didn’t have an option before that would take them away from the ego of Elon Musk. No wonder this Porsche has more than a few fans.

However, some of the fans might not be used to what an EV can do. Especially the instantaneous torque electric motors deliver. According to Grand Tour Nation, one such owner in the United Kingdom found themselves way in over their heads. And on top of a crossover.

As is inferred by the Twitter account of GazTankMotors, the owner had a Taycan Turbo S with 750 horses at the ready. Thus, the owner needed to carefully pull into their house. Seems like it would be easy enough, right?

Nope. For whatever reason, the owner pulled the Taycan right into his neighbor’s SUV. This was then followed by a swing through the front yard to dropkick another SUV parked on the street. We hope all is well with the driver, even if his insurance is about to skyrocket.

Alas, it’s not the first time a Taycan and its owner landed into some shenanigans. Earlier this summer, the crew at 1320Video were in Kansas during Rocky Mountain Race Week when a random Taycan turned up to challenge YouTuber Cleetus McFarland. Why? Who knows.

Of course, one of McFarland’s friends took up the cause in his stead, on the lines of “you can’t call out the heavyweight without going through the middleweight.” The middleweight, however, had a 911 GT2 to counter the Taycan owner’s lack of drag-strip skills. A good thing, too, as the owner turned out to be too dangerous for his own good on and off the track. As Kanye West once proclaimed, “No man should have all that power.”
