Porsche 911 R model

Attention, Santa! Rennlist forum member is selling a rare, limited-edition Porsche 911 R model.

It is coming down to the wire for holiday shopping. We have tried to find some cool gift ideas to thrill all the Porsche lovers in our lives, and in our mirrors. And then we happened upon a really cool gift idea from our own Rennlist forums Marketplace.

Forum member EG997C2 is selling a large scale 1/12 model of a Porsche 991 911 R. And it is awesome.

Thinning out my collection a bit due to lack of display space. Two extremely high quality large 1/12 scale sealer resin models. Both models are brand new and neither has even been displayed.

He had two for sale, but the other model, a 964 Turbo has already been sold. Nonetheless, we’re posting pictures of it because it is just too tasty to ignore.

As for the available model, it is amazing in its detail. And it is also pretty amazing that he is only asking for $400 bucks.

We love the extensive line of models that Porsche has released. They nicely capture the smooth, exciting, and beautiful spirit of their larger counterparts. This model is no exception, exemplary in capturing every aspect from the car’s lines to its nuts and bolts.

While many of us would rather our holiday gifts appear in the driveway with a big red bow, a Porsche model is definitely a cool way to give (or get) a little Stuttgart magic. And it is certainly easier on the wallet than the cost of 991 911 R. You can check out the thread in Rennlist’s forums for more information.

And if you have something you’d like to buy or sell, check out the Marketplace.
