Built by Renegade Hybrids, this V8 911 is for those who aren’t into purity but love to have fun.

Our new Rennlist Marketplace can help you start the new year off on the right foot, whether your resolution is to complete a project build with a few more parts, start on a new project with the right Porsche, or simply jump into a new car right away.

Here’s an example we found the other day that fits the last two descriptions, but this one’s not for those who desire a “pure” Porsche experience.

One of the more popular modifications anyone can do to a 911 is swap out the flat-six for a Chevrolet V8, which is exactly what forum member and seller Ckimjr did with his 1976 911.

The seller took his 911 to Renegade Hybrids of Las Vegas, where no expense was spared in transforming the car into a high-performance, 380-horsepower monster in 964 clothing. The V8 is attached to the 915 five-speed manual, which delivers the power to the rear set of gold BBS wheels.

Inside the “Marlboro red burgundy” 911, the all-black interior includes new leather, a pair of steel-frame buckets, and a seat belt bar for the four-point harnesses. There’s no AC to keep you cool while burning up the desert, but the heater will keep you warm as you swing that big whale tail around the snow.

If your resolution is to have the coolest ride around, then this V8 911 should be in your driveway as soon as possible. You’ll be able to confuse both Porsche fans and Chevrolet parts counters alike, then leave them all behind in a cloud of burning rubber.
