Porsche Unveils Three Previously Unreleased Concept Cars

Like or not, the global automotive industry has accepted electrification as the future of mobility. And that transition to acceptance was a long road littered with concepts. Porsche’s Vision Renndienst was designed to be a family-friendly SUV.

Capable of fitting six passengers, it certainly utilized space well. Actually, “space” is a word–and concept–that Porsche embraced here.

Their vision was to create a futuristic “space shuttle.“ We don’t think that exactly worked. Though, this does seem more in sync with some of the autonomous EVs we’ve seen from several auto companies.

Vision Renndienst featured a center-mounted driver’s seat, and the battery-powered drivetrain was to be installed low into the floor pan to maximize the cabin space.
