The new Porsche focused video series is sponsored by Mobil 1 and features interviews with well-known Porsche lovers.

The Petersen Automotive Museum hosted a rally and experience at Porsche Rennsport Reunion 7 (RR7). And while RR7 may be over the Porsche celebration is not. It was recently announced that a new video series is being released that will focus on Porsche as told by some of the most famous Porsche lovers in the world. This includes racing drivers, builders, actors, photographers, and more. A new episode is expected to be dropped every two weeks on the Petersen Automotive Museum YouTube channel as well as their website and other social media outlets. This new video series is called “We Are Porsche.”

“Sharing the stories behind automotive enthusiasts who have shaped the industry and the Porsche brand is key to preserving the history,” said Petersen Executive Director Terry L. Karges. “This series will tell the important stories of those who were influenced by the Porsche marque.” Porsche is celebrating 75 years this year so there is plenty of history to highlight. And these are the perfect people to do it.

Video Lineup

Haywood

We don’t know the full list of folks that will be featured in this video series, but we know most of them and the list will include Rod Emory, Patrick Long, Jeff Zwart, Daniel Wu, Chris Banning, Hurley Haywood, Bruce Meyer, Chad and Chase McQueen. The Haywood video has already dropped. If you don’t know who Haywood is, this must be your first time on Rennlist. He is one of the greatest endurance racing drivers of all time. He won the 24 hours of Daytona five times and the 24 hours of Le Mans three times. And that is just scratching the surface of his accomplishments. Virtually his entire racing career has been tied to Porsche. In his video he explains why Porsche is so important to him.

Common Bond

Porsche video series

The folks highlighted in the video series share the same bond as all of us here on Rennlist. That bond of course is the love of Porsche. We may not all be famous racing drivers, or builders, and some of us may not even own a Porsche currently. But we all love the brand. And as you watch these videos you will hear why some of the biggest names out there feel the same way.
