Manthey-Racing has produced some of the most track-ready versions of Porsche models, and the company’s latest 718 Cayman GT4 MR model continues its glorious legacy.

The tuning community has a soft corner for Porsche’s off-roaders. World-renowned tuning house Mansory’s reproduction is one of the sportiest avatars of the luxury SUV. With the growing popularity of high-riding models, it seems like the performance segment is fast becoming obsolete. However, there are still companies like Manthey-Racing, which are doing all they can to keep the segment alive.

Manthey-Racing is one of the most prolific Porsche tuners in the world, and the company is one of the most respectable brands in the Nurburgring racing circuit. Over the years, Manthey-Racing has produced some of the most track-ready versions of Porsche models, and the company’s latest project continues its glorious legacy. Manthey-Racing has unveiled its all-new Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 MR model, which has been designed to obliterate any track.

In addition to a wide range of performance upgrades, the Gewerbe Park-based tuning company has also redesigned the bodywork of the 718 Cayman. To avoid any damages to its air-intakes, the tuner has installed protective grills and an air deflector. The car also gets new wing brackets, Gurney, and rides on gold finish forged rims with Y-shaped spokes. The front and rear axle of Manthey-Racing’s Cayman GT 4 get MR brake pad set which comes equipped with steelflex lines.

“As with all our products, this kit is based on our entire know-how in motorsport. The Manthey-Racing Kit for the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 combines maximum performance with pure driving pleasure,” said Nicolas Raeder, Managing Director of Manthey-Racing GmbH.

The car rides on a coil-over suspension system, and with the upgraded brake system, Manthey’s 718 Cayman will be an absolute beast around the corners. Interestingly, the company refrained from re-tuning Cayman GT4’s 4-liter flat-six motor. The powerplant continues to produce 414 HP of maximum power and 309 lb-ft of peak torque. Customers get the option of either a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission or a six-speed manual gearbox for the 2021 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 models.

Models equipped with Porsche’s stick shift transmission can accelerate to 62 MPH from a standstill in just 4.4 seconds and achieve a top speed of 188 MPH. The company has not revealed the pricing for its 718 Cayman performance kit, but the information is available on request.
