Nothing stands in your way when you’re behind the wheel of a twin-turbo V8-powered lifted Cayenne with offroad tires!

Porsche first released the first-generation Cayenne in 2003. When it came out, there was quite a bit of backlash. However, fast forwarding nearly two decades, the Cayenne sits near the top of the Porsche sales charts consistently. When the brutal SUV first launched, it’s hard to imagine that anyone foresaw it outselling the iconic Porsche 911. However, its legacy is nothing short of cemented at this point. Now, as the first-gen models age into an accessible price bracket, we get to see people do some pretty cool things with them.

For example, this 2009 Cayenne Turbo S is currently listed for sale on Cars and Bids. At the time of writing, it has about four days until the auction ends with a high bid of just a hair under $16,000. That’s a whole lot of car for the price. However, there are a couple of issues that will affect the hammer price of this car. It’s not the modifications, either. This Cayenne, despite being in amazing shape, has over 150,000 miles on it. Additionally, it’s been in an accident.  Though, it still retains a clean Oklahoma title.

This Off-Road-Ready Turbo S Is Still in Great Shape, and It Sounds Amazing

The listing includes a handful of walkaround videos that allow us to listen to this beauty sing. Though the listing just notes that there are aftermarket additions to the exhaust system, specifics are not included. However, the idling and startup clips pump your ears full of an absolutely angry-sounding V8 that can strike fear into any muscle car. It’s got the chops to back it, too. The 2009 Cayenne Turbo S packs a ferocious 550 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque.

Other modifications include a set of gold Rotiform wheels with Nitto Ridge Grappler tires and a three-inch Eurowise lift kit. It also features a subframe drop kit and rock sliders to protect important bits when you’re adventuring offroad. It also has a few less drastic modifications, including a Bluetooth connectivity retrofit kit, tinted windows, and the black and red hatch badging.

Save for some pretty standard-issue creasing on the leather upholstery, the interior looks to be in remarkable condition for its age and mileage. Overall, this looks like a fantastic purchase for someone who’s looking for a powerful off-road adventure toy. Especially considering it’s been in an accident.

According to the Carfax report, this car was involved in a sideswipe accident that damaged the vehicle’s left side. However, the report also notes that the damage was considered minor and likely was only cosmetic. Considering the vehicle still has a clean title, it’s safe to assume the damage wasn’t too bad.

Overall, this is a great deal in the making for someone, and we’ll definitely be keeping an eye on the auction to see what it sells for!
