9:11 Magazine: Web TV That’s All About Porsche

By -

9:11 Magazine offers unprecedented access to passionate Porsche stories, history, and news.

Let’s face it – old school, dinosaur paper magazines are slowly fading away. In their place we have web based print, complete with shiny high resolution pictures and flashy videos. And when it comes to cars, that’s most certainly a good thing. Because while it’s nice to look at pretty cars, it’s even better to listen to them wailing around back roads.

Porsche fully understands that, which is why they’re rolling out an excellent new web based TV site dubbed 9:11 Magazine. Aside from the legendary nameplate, the 9:11 portion of the name is a nod to each video’s length – exactly 9 minutes and 11 seconds. And within that timeframe, you get information ranging from the automaker’s history to personal stories of legendary Porsche owners.

In the first episode, titled “Courage,” we get to hear legendary rally driver Walter Röhrl talk about his exploits while cruising around in a new Panamera. And the second episode is all about Porsche’s most legendary nameplate – the 911. All are very nicely done with some seriously great production quality, which is exactly what you’d expect.

9:11 Magazine is just the latest way that Porsche aims to connect with their fans. It’s a perfect way to tell the stories behind their creations and rich history. And from the looks of the first two episodes, it’s not a bad way to spend 9 minutes and 11 seconds of your life.
