2025 Taycan model lineup updates make it faster both on the road and at the charger alongside a host of other new features.

The Porsche Taycan has been doing well for the past handful of years. The release of the Cross Turismo variant offers a plethora of trims and models to reach a broad range of buyers. However, as is to be expected from Porsche, the envelope keeps getting pushed. Now, the 2025 Taycan models are here and they’re looking quite promising. Whether you’re in it for the electric benefits or the pure Porsche experience, there’s great news with this update.

First and foremost, let’s discuss aesthetic updates. The 2025 Porsche Taycan brings a redesign to the front fenders and headlights giving the Taycan an overall facelift. The headlights are slightly flatter and accentuate the width of the car a bit more.  The headlights are also now LED and feature the Porsche four-point graphics you find on other models. Bringing up the rear is the updated rear light strip with a three-dimensional “PORSCHE” logo.

More Power & Range Than Ever

The Taycan’s already monstrous acceleration and performance have been enhanced once again. On the low end, the base model Taycan models now sprint from zero to 60 MPH in 4.5 seconds. Top trim Turbo S models, though, hit 60 miles per hour in an eye-watering 2.3 seconds, shaving 0.3 seconds off the outgoing Turbo S model. Turbo S models got an extra 140kW output when using launch control. So, in total, Turbo S models offer up to 938 horsepower, making it the most powerful production Porsche in history.

The new Taycan has real-world range testing results of over 364 miles, helping to make range anxiety a thing of the past. However, the extended range isn’t the only thing making long road trips even more reasonable with the 2025 models. The 2025 Taycan lineup is capable of charging up to 320kW under ideal conditions, meaning that the 105 kWh Performance Battery Plus can charge from 10 to 80 percent in just 18 minutes. They also now feature a standard 150 kW DC/DC converter to optimize charging speeds on 400-volt networks.

Interior Enhancements and Pricing

Porsche is now offering a leather-free interior option for those interested in reducing the use of animal products in their daily lives. It’s available as a no-cost option on Turbo and Turbo S models and a paid upgrade on other models. Porsche also updated the instrument cluster and central display infotainment system. Most notably, a control lever has been added to the steering wheel for easier access to driver assist functions. Interestingly, you can also now stream video on the central or passenger screen.

Pricing starts at $99,400 for the base Taycan sedan and ranges as high as $211,700 for the Turbo S Cross Turismo with a host of prices in between. We’re looking forward to seeing the new Taycan on the roads and can’t wait to get a chance to get behind the wheel of one!
