Spy shots of the 992 911 show us a detailed look at the next chapter in Porsche’s evolution…and it’s spectacular!

It’s something that we have all been waiting for, and it’s finally here! Porsche’s 992 was caught on the streets of Germany with almost no camo whatsoever, and it gives us the best look yet at Porsche’s iconic sports car.

Starting up front, the revised grille is quite obvious. More squared off in shape, the new grille features a tech-filled center portion with a visible active cruise control module right in the very middle. Flanking each side are parking sensors, integrated turn signals at the top portion of the grille, and a wide-open space to pass cooling air over the inter-coolers. It’s also interesting to note that the hood has gone from being mostly flat, to sprouting a pair of character lines. They are somewhat similar to a 993, and perhaps a nod. Like the 993 as well, those character lines terminate at the cowl.

From the side, chrome window trim stands out as an interesting addition to a pre-production car with very few models of the previous generation ever receiving such brightwork.

The door handles are also new and are the pull-from-underneath type. From a few photo angles you can also peek inside the car and spot bright red leather upholstery. Although the dash is covered, we can expect the usual Sport Chrono packages to be available and the overall design direction to mimic that of the other recently updated Porsche models.

At the rear, some more obvious changes are made. Although some small portions of camo are still present (mostly over what would be the Porsche script that braces the width between the tail lights), we still get a clear view. That tail light heckblende is a bit more narrow than the 991.2. Additionally, the center mount brake light is integrated with the grille slats.
