December sales figures aren’t even in yet, but 2015 is already shaping up to be a banner year in Porsche history.

For the first time ever, Porsche has sold more than 200,000 cars in a year. 209,894 to be exact. And that’s just through November. That’s nearly 25-percent growth over the same period last year. Which is bonkers.

According to GTspirit:

“In November alone, the carmaker delivered 18,110 new cars, with the Cayenne accounting for more than one-third of the sales (6,579 units). The SUV has been Porsche’s best seller in 2015 with a total of 68,029 models being delivered to customers worldwide, a 14 percent rise from last year.”

Somewhat surprisingly, Porsche’s best sales figures were posted in China, a country whose economy has been struggling of late. But still, Porsche sold 54,302 cars in China this year, a 34-percent year-over-year increase.

Perhaps even more surprising is the fact that many of these sales have come in the shadow of the diesel emissions scandal that Porsche’s parent company, Volkswagen, has been embroiled in. Apparently public perception has kept parent and offspring apart.

Yep, Porsche just keeps plugging away. And odds are good they’ve given at least 200,000 people something to be thankful for in 2015.
