Peek at the incoming RS
Not looking for opinions per se. Primarily just wanted to share what one of the latest renderings looks like. IF you need share your opinions, I would appreciate respect and generally good vibes. Otherwise, I would ask you simply hold your comments.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Yellow fender things look cool. I'd carry the black roof all the way back to the deck lid and lose the checkers back there. Do wing ends solid yellow. Checkers in front of rear wheels look ok I'd simplify behind them.

I'm trying to do an 'OEM PLUS' with the side checkers. Like a 'nod' towards the 997....but 'modified' to be 'my' version.
What do you mean by 'simplify' ?
(I'm intentionally going for more detail in my checkers vs the 997 OEM.)

Phil, I love it! Looks like a race car. I love it just the way you drew it out. The beauty is it's all vinyl, so if it doesn't look in person as good as you have it drawn up, you can always change it. Afterall, they're just toys, really fun and expensive toys, but toys none the less, so have fun playing with it!

Phil, wonderful design, maybe you have missed your calling. ETA for the new super model?

Overall it looks a bit too busy for me. I do like the black on the front hood and roof but carry it right through to the back. The rest is fine, as AC noted you're probably treating your RS as a track car first then street car second. Great overall look.

Cool car, I like the design, but I have a question. Why not buy a dedicated track car? They are race prepared, faster, safer and if you have a shunt, you're not in an insurance dilemma replacing street car components. I've seen a lot people preparing road cars like race cars, I'm not sure I understand the thinking behind it. I see the RS as a track capable road car, not the other way around.

1. I like the ability to drive on the street if and when I want.
2. I'm specifically interested in tracking a street legal car.
3. I've considered the possibility of an accident and am willing to accept the outcomes.
While I understand where you are coming from, for now this is the path I've chosen.
