Hi-
I’m looking to finally step into Porsche ownership with a 987.2 Boxster Spyder. Ideal colors for me are Carrera White with Carrera Red interior. Must have options are CF seats and a manual. Nice to have is PSE and short throw shifter. I am OK if slightly modified with headers, exhaust, and a tune. I would like the mileage to be under 20k.

Critical the DME report does not show any 3 and above over revs. Ideal is a car with all original paint and one owner (unicorn I know!).

If you are even considering the sale of yours, now may be a good time. I am a cash buyer and excited to get into Spyder ownership!

I wasn’t referring to an email sent to you rather to GT3 Nut, sorry for any confusion.

That seems about right. Nice car, low miles! I have seen nice examples from anywhere between the mid 40's to low 60's, but either end is certainly a rarity. With the 981 Spyder coming down below $80k in many cases, these 987 models should be significantly less expensive.

I am not sure about significant. It may be like the 911’s where people have a preference of 993, 996 or 997. From reading the forums several members upgraded their Spyder’s to 981’s and preferred the 987 and switched back. The 987 Spyder’s are not following a typical Porsche depreciation schedule. A 2011 Spyder sold last fall for over $70k - somehow it was CPO but people are willing to pay based on availability. Remember a lot of the 911 turbos were produced in the 2,000 per model year range - so roughly double the 2 year run of the 987 Spyder per year. Who knows - but I wouldn’t expect to see properly spec’d 987 Spyder’s with low miles loose their value.
