Craig, sent you an email awhile back for some pads for my buddy's 968 upgraded to big blacks on the front.
He wants Pagid Yellows. 19 or 29.

I'd also consider a spare set of fronts - 2004 996 GT3. Yellows.

PM me.

Apologies for not reading through the whole thread first, but any interest in 951 or at least S4 floating rotors? I've been planning on fabbing up a set for a while now...just haven't gotten to it.

993 doesn't fit all 951s. Different depth or height hats.

I might be interested in a set of these for an older 928 I have that's getting the Big Black GTS Caliper upgrade. Can you PM me a price for the fronts? Also, are the hats Aluminum to save unspring weight and is there any type of cadmium plating on the inner vanes to keep them from rusting? I'll need a matching set for the rears too, but they don't really need to be 2-piece - I just want them to match the look so with a coated black hat. Rears are the same on the S4 & GTS. Thanks and let me know.

You would need different hats for the 928.

Default Rotors

According to the guy doing my build, their caliper adapter bracket makes an S4 or GTS caliper work on the front of the older 928s, and it compensates for the hat difference, which is why I have to use 993 TT rotors instead of 928 GTS rotors. The GTS and the S4 roter have a rotor thickness of 32mm and from the top of the hat to the backside of the rotor is 77mm. The 993 TT rotor is also 32mm thick but has a top of hat to backside of the rotor dimenstion of 72mm. Does that sound correct and like it will work?

These are EXACTLY the same dimensionally as a 993TT rotor. If this will work for your custom app, then go for it. $995 for the pair and NO CHARGE to ship as well.

Any comments on the differences between Girodisc and Performance Friction's offering for rotors?

Thanks,

S.

Craig, I'll be in touch soon. I've been looking for exactly what you have. A replacement for the oem units that crack after 5 or 6 DE days. Yours are the same price, but I'll bet they last 3-4 times longer. What Pagid pad to you recommend? I'm using orange, but they are annoying, squeaky when cold, but i love them on the track. They also contribute to the short rotor life of the oem rotor. You're local to me, I'll have to swing by and show you my ride soon. Joel
