Was at a dealer to day and they had a beautiful Midnight Blue Macan S ('17) on the showroom floor. But, I noticed it had silver brake calipers instead of red... what's that mean?

The GTS next to it had red brakes as did all the other S vehicles I saw there.

This was the only one with silver. The non S had black, as usual.

Never mind... found it. S models can be either red or silver, depending on the vehicle.

An S has silver calipers, no option to paint them red. Maybe you can do it via the exclusive department.

The GTS has red calipers.

Perhaps that's for the Macan only? Boxster, Cayman, 911 and Panamera all have red brakes for the S models. And GTS, as far as I can recall.

That is correct about the cars. But for the SUV's the S models get silver calipers. Maybe it's a marketing move.

Usually the base model gets the black color, the mid gets the silver and the top gets the red.
The GTS gets the red as well as the top model turbo and turbo S since it's kind of like a special model.
The PCCB is an option for all but the base model which comes in yellow.
