Default Another Air Suspension tread

Hey Guys,

All rigth so before we start, I just want to say that I did use the search feature but it seems like most treads that are about Air Suspension are left unfinished with no conclusion.

Here's my issue, i'm getting the Warning chassis system message and Durametric is giving me the Code 1400.
The vehicule is a 2008 GTS

I can move the height from Normal to terrain without issue, but it won't let me go to the low or loading level.

The rear of the Cayenne looks to be sitting higher than the front.

I have acces to a Durametric. What else could I look for via the software ?

I'm thinking it's either a faulty level sensor or the valve on top of the struts.

Any input is appreciated !

If it won't lower on one axle or corner it is likely one of the pressure holding valves on that corner or axle. Replace and it should fix it. I think they're about $80 a piece.

Does the Durametric offer the ability to activate the valves? If so - that will tell you if they're an issue. I assume is offers the ability to read out the level sensors - what are these telling you (especially if you change height)?

Maybe ?
I'm not very savy when it comes to Durametric.
I can get the height of each wheels. I see that they all move when I raise to terraisn and drop back down to normal. The numbers are not all equal, normal 3 out of 4 will be in the same ball park.

I also tried to do the height adpatation on each wheel but the software won't let me, even though I removed the Warinng Chassis System.

What happens when you press the Sport button - the car goes to sport mode but the suspension height stays at normal?

Will try tonight. I'm thinking it won't go in low mode but worth a shot. I'll try to lock the suspension too.
thinking of replacing the release valves on both of the rear strut. I saw a video of this on a Touareg, I'm guessing it'll be similar ?

Sooooooo evertything is now back to normal.
This is very odd. I ordered a compressor overhaul kit anyways and will do it as preventive.

So what was the actual fix? Release valves?

That's whats is weird about it.
I reset the code with Durametric for the 4th time.
Before turning off the car I jacked it all the way up and locked the suspension there.
I also played around with the compressor to make sure everything was nice and snug.

Stay tuned, I have the bad feeling it'll come back.
