New Porsche 960 model?
Automobile magazine has a story on the new mid-engined 960 model that Porsche plans to market against the Ferrari 458 Italia: http://www.automobilemag.com/feature...ive/index.html.

the gallardo/r8 platform has plenty scope left in it, even if it ain't what lamborghini want.
You can front/middle/rear engine it and go for 2/3/4/5 doors.
it could be used as a 'cost efficient' platform, letting Lamborghini come to grips with the practicalities of the 'neue karbon', before that floats across the entire group.
PAG does not like being so far down the pecking order.... so they might reject this option for the dumbest of reasons.

it is in the works for a 2015 model.
it is safe to say that i will probably be having one as my daily driver when they are released.
My 997 (or 991) will be for track time only unless the "960" is the new motorsport platform......

+1 although I think the artist is channelling a little too much 458 for me

the more I look at it I see some CGT in the back, R8, 904, 911 & CGT/Corvette in the middle and 458/904/Cayman in the front...
