Default New Headlights

I will post more pictures when they are done and installed, but thought I'd share what I have so far.

Thank you!
I have a feeling that someone may throw the "r" word at me, but its ok because I really like them and the way they look on my baby

I have to ask: actuators or phosphors? As you may have guessed from my screen name and my projects, I have a love affair with light

Sneak preview

Edit: installed

The green is just from the camera flash hitting the green inner cutoff shield

Too cool. I love the black light interior with the white paint.

Yes, very cool, kudos, well done.
How is the night efficiency ?
..If we want the same, would you agree to give us the recipe ?
Did you start up from a regular base or from a xenon optionned car ?

Thanks!

I made these using the projectors seen in the thread linked below
https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...and-986-a.html

These are based on the Morimoto MH1 and are brighter than Lits (built with what were originally halogen headlights).
I'll get night shots soon. I'm waiting on some relays and resistors to arrive so that I can finish up the electrical.

Whipped up some side marker lights to better match the new headlights

And finally, some shots of the fully incorporated CCFL DRLs.

Thank you, sir

I didn't want to take it too far, but I may be a step over the line already. I like it all, but it's borderline "too busy".
I'll keep looking at it here and there over the next few weeks and see how it sits with me.
I may unhook the halos for a while if I decide it's too much, and go from there.

Gadolinium oxysulfide with a terbium activator, the not so secret recipe of medical imaging screens of yore. Hit that with an x-ray beam and you get Orthrochromatic fluorescence, a match for green sensitive emulsions. You would have loved it where I worked. I can remember spending an entire day in umbra and penumbra lectures and learning labs.
