Default Is there a fister style upgrade to a 997..2 turbo S ??

I want to upgrade my exhaust sounds I have a X-pipe and 200 cell cats that I want to install
without losing the valves I like the idea of sound on demand
but is there some sort of hack to get a fister style sound also from stock mufflers

I’m one of those view and clicked to see what the heck a fister style exhaust is, as I hadn’t heard of that 😁. Unfortunately, my experience is with .1s and not .2s so I’m not of much help. I will say, aside from changing exhaust as you mentioned, I’m not aware of any mods to an OEM 997TT (.1 or .2) to alter the sound. I’m not sure if even swapping to aftermarket 200 cel cats is possible on OEM exhaust. Hopefully you get other, more helpful responses.

There are no valves on the OEM 997.2 turbo exhaust. It is possible to replace just the cats on the 997.2TT, but not the 997.1TT. Depending on what type of sound you are after, there are a few options. Doing cats only is a very, very slight tweak to the sound. Not a lot of difference. The .2 dfi motor needs a lot of help to get more sound out of it. Feel free to contact me if you wish to discuss the various options. I have tried and tested them all and can provide some good first hand advice.

The 991GT2RS Titanium exhaust is factory valved with a center mounted muffler (similar to stock) It will fit the 997.2TT not for the faint of heart.
Disclaimer, it is a expensive exhaust and will take hours in the fab shop/ welding the CAT's with flanges to fit the 997.2TT turbochargers and tailpipes..

Kevin thanks for sharing but I’m hearing titanium metallurgy is not meant to be used on street cars
the constant contraction causes titanium to become brittle and crack
many cases have been recorded from this metal
too bad though it is bad ***
