As many of you know we do the Smokies event every Sppring with a track day, airstrip rental and amazing mountain drives. The event kicks off in Atlanta on 4/21 this year. We need more GT4's - we only have about 5 997's registered out of the 45 GT Cars that are currently confirmed to show up. There is a thread on the 991 board, we'd love to have some more 997's! PM me or Haku or fill out our form at smokiesgt.com for more info.

It's a great weekend, with extremely fun people, cool cars, good food and beautiful mountain resort. Many people bring a buddy for a co-pilot, about half or more bring spouses, and others ride solo.

Last year the event raised over $40k for the Cystic Fibrosis foundation - one of our members have 2 kids that battle this disease every day and we are on a mission to stop it.

Does "GT cars only" include GTS?

At present no GTS I'm afraid.

Only versions of GT4, GT3, GT2, RS, R, CGT, 918, and certain other race and limited production Porsche's. Exceptions are rare but could be made based on individual circumstances.

If any one is on the fence just do it. I PROMISE you will not regret it. This will be my 5th Smokies event in 3 years and it is not a short drive from Wisconsin. I have met some lifelong friends and the events are a blast. I never thought I would find a car event my wife would love. She has ZERO interest in cars but she enjoys the events as much if not more than me. She is even learning some PTS colors but she still hates Ruby Star. You can't win them all. LOL
