RMS repair denied under CPO because... of a modified exhaust not on the car anymore

They originally tried the same stunt on me since I had a sharky bypass; however, the dealer advocated for me and the repair was done at no cost. I think the dealer has a great deal of input into this type of an occurrence.

2007.1 GT3 @ 33k miles and NO rear main oil seal leaks. However, gearbox CPO'd replaced at 12k miles. Tire Pressure System now DOA and front springs are chatty when cold. Otherwise, has been bulletproof (with revs mostly under 5k). Some range 1 over revs.

Well a week later after my last contact with them. Still nothing. Pfaff Porsche can suck it, wrote an angry letter to Porsche Canada... for all the good it might do (nothing). I've come to expect very little of them.

Well the angry letter paid off. Porsche is taking care of this ordeal and my car was finally fixed. They are still sorting things out internally. The Quebec City dealership was a class act all the way!

Wow, 2 months to finally get resolution. Glad it worked out for you!
Had my car in at the dealer last month and my master tech told me I had a slight weepage from the RMS and that the best thing was to go drive it with some serious RPMs (so I took it to VIR ) When I asked him what the deal was he said that it could be b/c of the center x-pipe reducing pressure and the RMS operates optimally with the proper pressure which is changed with the x-xpipe. Not sure how much I believe but I do trust him 100%.

Typical Porsche these days. Glad you got it worked out though.
Back in 2010 on my 2009 Carrera S with 1,500 miles my drivers side header devolved a pin hole exhaust leak. All that really needed to be done was a quick spot weld. I took the car to the dealers and Porsche denided the warranty because of the center exhaust crossover. I complained so PCNA had the dealer send them a ECU print out....this car was PDK so no over rev's and outside the center delete muffler I had GT3 lower control arms for more camber at the track. Porsche said due to track use they denied the warranty on the header.
You all know Chevy warranties the Camaro and Vette as long as they are kept stock to be used for DE's not the track?..Yep!
