Very nice -- welcome to Porsche. Where in Joysey are you?
I'm in Moorestown, NJ -- also C4S cab.
I'm guessing the two of you are likely north NJ, but feel free to PM if you're ever at a meet or something down here... I'm trying to get a few people together for the occasional early weekend morning twisties ride (still missing my motorcycle days I suppose), cup of coffee, etc.
Wow. Those are beautiful.

Awesome...I did a lot of mods to my GTS so I've been down that road and will share my experiences. I took my GTS back to stock to sell it and sold off the mod's.
Yes 18" wheels are the way to go so you can run Nitto NT01 245/305 18" tires.
Swap out the street pads for Pagid RS19 Yellow for FRONT and RS14 Black for REAR. The different pad compound will help balance the threshold braking and keep the car a little more level in braking. The 997 cars are heavily front brake bias for really bad street drivers...LOL Anyway....I did brake and suspension upgrades as well...so let me know if you want to talk and pick my brain.

Beautiful car. Congratulations. I usually trade every 2 or 3 years but between the 991 and the next all turbo models I may drive my GTS till the wheels fall off. It's such a great package and the thought of not getting something newer and different doesn't bother me one bit for the first time.

As she presently sits -
M A Shaw 997.2 gt3 wing & 997 aero kit front lip, waiting on the Carrera GTS script from suncoast for the rear deck.
Great paint match by the crew at Westchester Collision in Pelham Manor, NY .

Very Nice! How is the fitment of that rear decklid? From that last picture, it looks like a less-than-perfect fit with the gaps. Could you please take some pics of the rear decklid area?
I've been thinking of installing either a GT3 wing like yours, or a Vorsteiner VRT wing, but am concerned with fitment quality. May I ask what you paid for yours?

It actually fits pretty well, the angle is deceiving, there is a ton of adjustability in the car . i will post up some more pics once the rear emblem is back on.

Here's a nit-picky comment/question. Assuming Porsche has done its homework on the aero for these cars, is putting on a wing for a nb on a wb advisable? Or is that irrelevant at the speeds we would operate on the street? I ask because I'm considering doing something similar.

Based on no science or data, you could look at it this way and say that the aero kit (rear wing and front lip spoiler) is identical for both the NB and WB cars.
I would say that it is completely inconsequential for the street.
There logically will be a difference since the rear track is a different width but I can't really see a big impact of a NB wing on a WB car. Also consider that the Carreras are stable with just the tiny active wing in the rear that provides no downforce whatsoever (it does eliminate some lift though). I would think that an aero front spoiler lip and a rear GT3 wing would be plenty stable on the track.
I'll head over to the wind tunnel and let you know though. /s

^ Yep!
It's hard to tell in my pics but I installed an OEM aero kit lip on the car at the same time. I had it finished in the same texture as the GTS sideskirts/rear apron.
I don't think any extra downforce on the front would be a negative in the car.

I just got rid of the GTS and picked up a 930, I reverted the GTS back to stock and will have some parts for sale as soon as I have a chance to take some pics.
