Do you drive your Porsche in the rain?

You are correct, sir. Good thing is they'll avoid you if they can, and they usually see you first, so they'll take off. Bad thing is, if they don't have a way out, they're coiled and ready to hit the first thing in range. In a lab, they don't have the flight option, so they only know 1 other thing to do. Pretty nasty hemotoxin to go along with that nasty disposition, too. Not much of a match for a 295 Michelin, though.

My car is one of 4....I dont drive it when its gonna rain. I put a lot of time and effort keeping it nice...why crap it up in the rain? That said Ive been caught in many south florida downpours and those fat tires really keep the car steady on slick roads.

Got caught in a huge downpour Wednesday. After about 5 minutes of driving through moderately deep puddles (I know - every puddle is moderately deep to a car that rides just a few inches off the pavement), experienced quite a bit of brake fade. Was happy to be home when I got there.

I'm with the orignal poster, no rain for me.
The day I drove mine off the lot, it rained - cringed the whole way to my next way-point. Since then, I study the radar for any storm clouds before I ever even think about raising the garage door.
I'm not afraid of driving in the rain (I've raced open cockpits in it), I just don't like knowing how dirty the car gets in all those nooks and crannies. Some of which are never to be cleaned.
Also worth noting there is no drink, food or flatus in the car either....
Now for my M3 sedan, all bets are off and anything goes.

Three Wheelin'
drive mine every day rain or shine. driving anything else is a waste of time i can't get back. driving a 911 is one of the true joys of life. I am not going to waste a moment not driving it because of a little rain.
