So if I follow Mooty's recommended E88 wheel specifications.....
Sounds like I can go with a 235 or 245 up front.
For the rear, any problem with sticking with a 295 rear vs. a 315?

it is my personal opioin that 235 front is too narrow, regardless of what rear you use.

I've gone with Mooty's advice and just purchased set of Toyo R888R, 245/295, on 8.5"/11"

I had the exact same thing.
Found the rear control arm caster bushing was toast allowing significant changes in toe when loading and unloading the wheel. This was with 2.3 degrees of rear camber and 1mm rear toe per side.
New control arms with fixed caster bushing and same settings resolved it! CCW 12" rears. I had same mark on trailing arm and skived nitto!

Here are a couple of tell tale signs you have a lot of movement in the 5 arm setup. Sidewall to Liner rub, outside edge skived tire, and dingings on trailing arm or inside wheel lip feom where wheel toe changes allowing tons of movement.

OK, my BBS E88's arrived last week from Gert at Carnewal, very sexy indeed and I fitted them with Pirelli Trofeo R tyres.
Sizes I went for in the end were:
Front 245, rear 295
In normal driving, I don't get any issues, but at slow speed, full lock, the tyres rub the front liners.......
Presume this is not a problem ? Anyone else with this set up have an issue? ( I appreciate every cars individual geo and set up will influence this...)
I will post up some pictures shortly, not yet had a chance to even go for full test drive yet. Going to the Spa classic race next week, so she should get a good test drive then....

Quick ? I have a 1999 911 carrera 4. I have been looking for a set of BBS E88's for a year now and I think I finally found a set in my price range. Unfortunately they are not the right set for my car. They are 996 gt2 fitment and the front wheel is 8.5 and the rear is 12. The fronts will fit without a problem. The problem comes with the rears. Is it possible to change the barrel? If so are they easy to come by in a 10.5 or 11 inch barrel. Is this something I could handle with some simple tools and time? Finally what is the going rate for two barrels and any recommendations on where to go?
