Should is the key word...it is well documented on this site the durametric is junk on a 99. I personally went through 3 different professional cables only to have durametric say there was a problem with my car. I took it to the dealer and was out in five mins, no issues what so ever

If that's the case, then i'll use the Audi-based HVAC display cheat where I can already view the outside temperature in Celcius. But I still plan to get a durametric for other reasons. Which reminds me, I would love to find a used one if anyone has one for sale.
