Default What else while doing IMS?

In a month, I'm taking my new-to-me 02 C4S out of storage, to get the IMS Solution installed.

What else should I have looked at or preventatively replaced?

Im sorry, I don't have the time, between work and two little kids, to read through all the threads.

RMS? AOS? Coolant Tank?

Thanks!

RMS, AOS and clutch if worn. Unless they drop the engine, the coolant tank is on the other end so you won't save labor.

I did IMS Single Row Pro, RMS, AOS (all as preventive measures), and clutch at the same time. As has been mentioned the coolant tank is top-side so you won't save on the labor at all.

Good luck!

Don't forget the flywheel as well if it needs replacing. Make sure the clutch replacement includes the throw out bearing.

Air oil separator, water pump, thermo stat and cap upgrade, clutch if needed. I did LN single row pro which is actually a dual row unit. 6/75 life. latest from LN engineering.

Spin on oil filter is part of the IMS Solution. I did AOS, clutch and RMS when I did the Solution. Some folks, including Raby, suggest water pump too.

Thanks everyone.

Sounds like I should talk to the shop about RMS, AOS, clutch/flywheel inspection. All the standard stuff I had considered already. Things I didn't think of were water pump and thermostat.

I had a magnetic drain plug installed prior to delivery as they changed the oil before I picked it up.

The car only has 27k miles on it. I'll discuss with the tech, but do you guys think that would reduce chances of needing to replace water pump and thermostat? Are there revisions of the part that should be upgraded to, or are they just wear items that are replaced with the exact same part?
