I asked the seller a question and am awaiting a response.

Looking closely on my computer screen, there appear to be dents on the rear roof section and just above the left front driver-side wheel. Could be reflections.

What exactly does "Turbo S flat nose front" mean? I've had my eye on this one and was wondering if this was something other than the usual C4S front.

I just noticed those too. The drivers side fender definetly looks like a dent but i cant imagine how you can get those dents on the roof unless you park your car under a 100 foot pine tree and let the cones fall on it.

I think that amounts to the addition of the lower spoiler to the front bumper cover.

Thanks for clarifying. It's hard to tell from the pictures in the ad but it looks to me like all the other C4S bumpers I've seen.

Greetings fellow Rennlisters,
I also have a high mileage 1999 Porsche 996 for sale. Would you guys be able to let me know how much I should sell it for? I purchased the car to build it and make it a fully prepped track car, but had a baby and now my priorities have shifted. Any thoughts or comments would be greatly appreciated.

Here are some of the specs:

1999 Porsche 911, clean title
211,176 highway miles
6-speed manual transmission
3.4L Engine
Black leather interior
Original Black Paint
Garaged
Oil changes every 2,500 miles with boutique/highend synthetic oils.

Possible hail damage?

Pretty hard to tell from the pictures the condition... Is the paint faded or just filthy? Scratches and tears on the interior? Wheel rash? Tire condition? Brakes? Tires?

211K miles is impressive... Is there any service history? Original engine?

That's my suspicion since the car is in Texas. Lots of hail events here.

I asked the question and the seller has never responded....

Yes, original engine. Paint both faded and filthy. Tires seem to be okay, no tears on the interior, minor wear and tear. Brakes seem to be fine. I don't think that I have any documentation of service history. I had one of my friends that is a lead Porsche Technician at Rusnak Porsche in Pasadena, CA. He said that the car seems to run well. He also used some sort of scanner tool to check out the car and he said that there were no "codes" showing? Thank you so much for your time.

I would say closer to $7k if you leave the steering wheel cover on and as is. Closer to $10k if you remove the steering wheel cover and detail it.
