I was going....
I would've been there but I bought a hotel already on travelocity when the dates came out. Then they changed them two weeks later. It was going to cost $1,200 for the same room for two nights ($650 more than what I already had paid) so I'm not going. I will however be in the Monterey area for a nice weekend on those original dates. The entire thing has left a sour taste in my mouth... this is the reason for the decision..
Oh, and I have a baby due in September, which I wasn't aware of when I booked the room originally either... actually this could be the larger reason...
