Would like to hear a 993 Turbo with Fabspeed Sport X-pipe - Vancouver/Seattle area?

Im not using stock headers , Im using the Fabspeed headers. As I said as seen in the photo the Fabspeed headers and the Fabspeed x pipes do not fit well ! With the whole system together the exhaust pipe on the right side goes out at a bad angle as you can see by the photos. The left side is fine. I should have just pulled everything out when I put it on and sent it back ) EDIT as of Jan'15 all fixed now by Fabspeed.

I Welcome them to respond !! They say it was a problem with the right exhaust so I got another right exhaust and still was wrong. It is something wrong in my opinion with the alignment of the x-pipes out to the tips. But they still say its the exhaust . They last told me 3 months ago they were working on a new exhaust. If I put on the original exhaust there is enough play to get the tip to come out properly on the right side. (( EDIT as of Jan '15 Fabspeed has fixed all my issues....Thanks ))

I'd email Kevin a few years back regarding a good header option. For the most part, he didn't think any of the aftermarket headers held up very well (cracked welds). Advise to massage the factory headers. Pretty much "port match" and smooth any rough areas. That alone would afford any benefits over the aftermarket offerings. Haven't pulled mine yet, but when I do, I plan on doing this. Still waiting for Mike to whip up a functional, affordable, cross over/mixing chamber set up. :-)

that exhaust certainly doesn't look right...
The massaging the stock headers is a lot of fun. You can clean them up pretty well. I've got pics in a thread somewhere. You spend so much time doing it, it has to help!
(found the thread, second page! https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...ferrerid=28499 )

Burning Brakes
Finally home for the holiday. I owe you guys a better video and pic.
My mild mods are:
1. Fabspeed headers
2. CAT by-passes
3. Dach X pipe
4. RSR mufflers
5. Protopsort ECU
6. LWF
Rennster asked for some revs. I think its a boring "rev-er" I'd actually like more growl at high rpm....almost sounds stock (don't know how that's possible with all this stuff ......but good for no drone). I'll get a video of it in the cabin today...you could hear a pin drop no resonance. Going for a ride...It's 70 degrees in PA....wow
....At idle if your back was turned it literally sounds like there's a good ole boy missin some teeth with a lifted F350 behind you waitin on you to go "muddin"......but then you hear the turbo whine a lil......I like that...but I have bad taste.

It seems as if our Customer Service Representative has spoken to you already and has requested that you send your Supercup Exhaust back for warranty purpose. Your fitment issue will be taken care of promptly.

Regarding drone on the Fabspeed stuff: when I only had the sport cat X-pipe on the car, there was NO drone but the sound itself was as quiet (or more quiet) than stock. With the addition of the Supercup mufflers, there is definitely a drone inside the cabin between about 2400 and 2900 rpm. It's hard to say exactly what parts cause the drone as the stock mufflers might just be masking the drone. Only thing I know is that the drone appeared with the Supercups. I don't have any interest in putting the stock cat pipes back on with the Supercups to test for drone. Maybe someone who just installed Supercups can attest to any drone.
For fitment: my dealer had installed the X-pipe but I ended up installing the Supercups myself. I am no exhaust fitting expert but I've installed enough aftermarket exhaust systems in my life to know that it sometimes takes quite a bit of work to get it all to fit just right. This install was no exception. In fact, it took me several hours to get the fitment I was looking for. I had to loosen the X-pipe to get it all to work. Just a minor little shift (say less than 1/4") made a HUGE difference at the tips (3"+!). It's kind of an art form to get it just right.

Made this last year and tried to load it but says it's an "invalid" file. Just loaded it to youtube. It's not an x-pipe, but gives a pretty good idea of where it's at right now. Phone is stuck to rear lens with suction cup holder. Don't laugh!
