Default 993 NB Turbo Twist question

Does anyone know if 18" Turbo Twist wheels supplied as a factory option for narrow body 993's would have been hollow or solid spokes?

Both were available.

Does this mean that both were available as options or that either were supplied at the discretion of the factory?

If I remember correctly, when I bought my 993 in 1996, the 18" hollows wheels were just released as on option for my C2 because the hollows were developed for the 993 Turbo. The hollow turbo twist wheels came as standard equipment for the Turbo and became a very expensive option for other 993's after the release of the Turbo.

So up until that point if you ordered 18" twists as an upgrade, you would get solid spokes?

Very few people selected hollows as an option for their C2 because of the cost (~$3700). Here were option codes:

408 18" Technology wheels (lightweight hollow spoke)
413 18" Turbo-look (Technology-look) wheels (not hollow spoke)

I suspect very few hollow spokes wheels for the non-s Carreras were made and sold. The offsets were identical to the standard cast wheel.

I have option code 408 and the wheels are solid spoke. I'm not the original owner, so I guess they could have been swapped out, but with the car being highly optioned and totally stock, that would surprise me.
