95 993 GT2 FENDER FLARE CONVERSION
just finished installing the Rennspeed gt2 flare kit and it fit perfect. Great quality......but now the inner fender liners are too small....what to do ... not sure if I'm to use 993 turbo inner liners....does anyone know.

Turbo liners are also too narrow. I bought genuine 993 GT2 liners from Sunset Porsche (yes, they are available and yes they had to come der fatherland). They were Genuine Porsche Parts, ordered through a Genuine Porsche dealer with the actual 993 GT2 part numbers and what they ended up being.........2 sets of 993tt fender liners that had been cut (the inner lip off one and the outer lip of the other) and then riveted back together to make a single wider one.
It was nice that it was done for me and I could just throw them onto the car, but I could have done it myself by buying 2 complete sets of turbo liners and doing the cutting, drilling and riveting myself and saved a bunch of $$$. I basically paid for the new parts and Hanz and/or Franz's labor.
Here's my thread from when I went looking:

Look at my thread 'Project RSR' and see what I did to widen the front inner guard liners. I used turbo inner guards on the rear which only needed slight modification.

the flares look like they fit well, especially by the rockers.
I had new front fender liners already so my solution was different from rscs.
cut the new liner following the sharp bend on the outside. then cut the old so the bend has 4-5 inches of flat section towards the center. this produces two pieces that are still stiff along the curve of the wheel well.
I cut the outside part in two, the top piece is bolted in place so the liner is installed normally, press fit between the tub and fender. then the bottom piece is slid into position and bolted in place, top bolt with a speed nut, bottom bolt is mounted thru to the oil cooler duct to hold the liner forward away from the tire.
the rest of the old liner can be cut in the same fashion to fit the rear half of the liner.

It started as a narrow body 993....sounds like a RSR....GUESS GT2 only fits wide body.....at this point I don't care.
CAUSE IT LOOKS SWEET.!!!
I'll send ya more pictures in the morning when I back out the cars.

I have been considering flaring my 95 993 Narrow Body.
Debating between complete panel or the Rennspeed flares.
Pros and Cons?
How hard is the install of the rear flares? DIY?
I am considering the rear only to give it the wide hips look.
