Default Replacing clutch plates - factory LSD

I need to replace the clutch plates in my 993 factory LSD. I don't think Porsche sells just the plates, does anyone know what parts I need to rebuild it ? Are the longer wearing ones than the stock ones ?

Can I replace the 993 plates with plates from a 997GT3RS ?? See post #7 https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...lip-i-was.html

These are the wear parts
alternating internally and externally splined discs

Hi bill,

I tried contacting Matt but never got an answer back. My mechanic deals with Patrick Motorsports and I saw this clutch pack on their website (part # 950-332-983-36)
http://www.patrickmotorsports.com/pa...-differential/

Is this a good alternative ?

But that doesn't mean I no longer make the parts. I just don't build and bless the lsd with holy oil.

Thanks Matt. Is $900 a good price for a used oem LSD? Do I need this as a starting point for a rebuild or do you guys sell complete diffs?

$900 sounds really high for one that needs a rebuild. Should be closer to $500. There is one on eBay right now for $700 I think.

guards has both kits for C2 with LSD and kit for C4 which had LSD standard. Kit for C4 includes new ramps for 60/40 lockup.

Got this PM from Matt the other day.

Has anyone tried Porsche for the parts? I'm afraid what they might cost... glad I didn't pick up a used LSD when I had the chance. Might make more sense to buy a third party new one pending price. But I do think it will also hurt the market for used diffs.

Bumping an old thread as a 993 C4 LSD has fallen into my lap.

Has anyone purchased the 60/40 kit from Porsche Classic? The prats are not listed on their parts explorer sit.

Or has anyone tried this kit from Racing Diffs?
