It would have been more interesting to me, if nobody else had noticed it.

I don't think it will hit the reserve. Nice nice car.

Saw that earlier, lately some high dollar sales have been generated through the BaT auctions ($150K last week for a 1967 Ghia 450SS), so this can very well go above the reserve. Is it a member here?

Sometimes comments from the BaT peanut gallery can get entertaining

Well at the current bid of seventy thousand no one can say that they are stealing it. Beautiful car but lots of 993s that are just as nice and for much less money.

I think the days of "much less money" for a WB 993 w/<70k are history!

You missed the boat, Irish. Go drive your 996

He traded his 996 on a 997.1. And then he tried to buy his 996 back, but couldn't make the deal. So, he still has a 997.1. But I know, who gives a $hit.

For some reason, cars seem to do well on BaT. Not sure why.

No, no, you are wrong. The cost of 993 should be determined as the cost of 996 plus a fake Rolex.

So, even a vulture infested automotive sales industry has enough full-proof built in to try and protect itself?

I agree Rodney , I'm starting to like this auction better than all others and here you really get to see the REAL prices and NOT crazy dealers asking prices .

C'mon, 'fess up. The owner has to be one of us. It's someone who's slid down "slippery Slope". Just look at the mods: Fister stage II, SSK, Golden Rod, etc.

Agreed. I have been surprised by some of the 911's that have sold recently. Higher than expected.
