Reviving an old, but great thread.
Looking for a set of these awesome wheels in 18". Feel free to contact me via PM if you might know of or have a set for sale.

Quick question I am hoping someone will help with. I have a set of BBS LM's and ran these on my 993 Turbo.
I am needing to have the rims re polished due to some corrosion and assume this is the best route rather than powder coating the rims silver? Does anyone run with the rims and faces powder coated or is polishing always the preferred finish?

Thanks. I assumed polished would be better and had forgotten about reversing them.
I have a 993RS they can go on or potentially onto 930, just now sure they will fit the 930. Might be overkill. The 930 is on 16" not sure how the 18" would look?

I posted in the wheel thread a few weeks back, but since this is a BBS LM specific thread I will mention it again.
In April of 2016 I placed an order for BBS LMs. At the time it was quoted that it would take 3-4 months which was fine by me. But it ended up taking 8 months before I took final delivery. I am not sure what happened (were my wheels hijacked by Somali pirates? LOL) and I likely never will know what took so long. But my 993 C2 now sports BBS LMs and here a picture that was taken a few weeks ago from the garage here at work.

Back to the 993 + LM appreciation... a photo I took last weekend:

No it's not the picture. My LMs don't have nearly as much of an offset than many of the others shown in this thread and I will admit that the wheels with larger offsets than mine look better and I would assume that this is because my 993 is not a WB? Looking back at this thread, I'd say my offsets are the same as what this car has.
