In terms of look, it really depends on the lip depth. You can see that the lip on the HRE's are very shallow, making the wheel face look like its poking out. Not a good look IMO. But standard front mounted LM's look just fine.

In my mind, Knight's offsets, lip depth and face mounting is pretty much perfect for a WB 993.

Tom - If you reverse mount your rear LM's, the result will be an offset that is too low for you to be able to use on your RS.

Here's a thread I posted a while ago when I did mine:

yeah they were 997 GT3, adjusting the ride height is the next endeavor.

just painted the old turbo twists and put them on:

Love those Tramonts, and love that car! IMO, you can't beat that color and those wheels.

BBS of Japan forged monoblock "RE" #776 and #777 in "Diamond Black" color 8.5 and 10 X 18 weighing 20.24 and 21.78 pounds each respectively.

I don't know why we don't get them here normally. http://www.bbs-japan.co.jp/jp/products/re.html

Those RS-GT? I have them on my Jetta. Searched forever for them. In need of a refinish though.

Love anything BBS. Just put RGRs on my Passat.

Just bought these. 18" refurbished originally from a 996. Fitted rack brace as suggested.
