New to the Porsche brand (991.1 C2S)
Hello Rennlist,
I've been long considering buying a Porsche (having come from a lineage of BMW's), and finally pulled the trigger this weekend!
I purchased a CPO 2012 Carrera S 7spd manual from Porsche of Bellevue (WA) with only 24k miles. I'm giving her the name Charis, which means "grace as a gift" in Greek.
My dealership experience was great; my sales person Greg D. was a true Porsche-phile (who owns a 991 GT3 himself) and was awesome to work with.
I had a fantastic time driving it home to Southern, CA! Greg suggested I take the long route through Oregon and experience the driving along the coastal Hwy 101. It was beautiful, and really brought best out of the car!
Here are a few pics of my new car at the dealership, and a few shots of my car on the ride home! Awesome experience.
Thanks everyone! I'd been researching and getting to know the car/brand on Rennlist for over year before finally pulling the trigger, and I'm glad I did!

Congrats, nice car!
I did the Seattle>SF drive about 3 months ago when I made the move down here.
I did it in my M3, great scenery through the Oregon coast even though the weather was terrible. Did you get off the freeway and do the Avenue of Giants? It's a bit longer but man what an amazing, winding run through the redwoods.
Love to do it again in the sunshine now that I have a 911.

Nice car! The picture at the dealer looked very familiar. Then I saw you bought it at Porsche Bellevue where I picked up my C2s last Thursday. My car was parked in the exact spot yours is in the picture! My wife and I are headed down the Pacific Coast later in June. Looking forward to it!

For reference, our last road trip we went up 1 from SF and then back down via Avenue of the Giants, and it was the better drive... less debris and less traffic than 1. Definitely the highlight of the trip.
