Real GTS horsepower
Has anyone dyno'd a stock GTS? Just wondering out loud about the actual HP. I suspect Porsche intentionally rated it lower so as not to get too close the GT3. I have no proof of course to back this up. Thoughts?

You're thinking of the GTS as a whole new model. The GTS is just the X51 power kit on a Carrera S. Same thing. Same as they did with the last one. Porsche does play horsepower games. But given the gleam in AP's eye every time he plays coy about how much the GT3 really puts out (meaning, in other words, its underrated) I'd say they are not all that worried about the GTS.
In 3 years I have never seen anyone post a real dyno of an actual 991. Oh, they talk about it….

The guys at BMG in Florida have dyno results on the 3.8 PowerKit motors over on the 981 Cayman/Boxster forum.

Correction. BGB in Florida.

Keep in mind that if you want a comparison between the GTS and GT3 horsepower, you need dyno results for both. I'm no expert but I believe that the dyno gives horsepower at the rear wheels and horsepower data given in specifications is at the crankshaft.

Your typical 991 Power Kit GTS motor will make close to 375rwhp on a Dynojet and about 284 lb/ft of torque; relative to a regular 991 S, the rwhp is spot on with the manufacturer's estimate, since the regular S dynos in the 350 rwhp range. Torque on both motors is unchanged as the intake manifold upgraded cam shaft and cylinder heads from the Power Kit deliver 95% power and not much additional torque; however, above 5500 RPM, it's definitely on tap and very noticeable.
The problem finding an applicable 991 GT3 comparison stems from the fact that the new 991 GT3 is PDK which makes it hard to dyno if you don't have the factory diagnostic software to put the cars in "dyno mode" and don't have a lot of experience dynoing PDK cars. I would expect that car to make about 410rwhp on the same dyno and while the engines are rated to have the same torque, i would expect torque to definitely be close to 300 lb/ft at the tires given how that motor screams over 6K RPM.
I guess the single best way to answer your question is that i had to build a 981 with a 3.8L Power Kit engine, put headers on it, filters, flash the ECU and add a lightweight flywheel to get close to 450hp from a Cayman. Our PDK 3.8L Power Kit 981 car dynod at 376rwhp and still had sport headers with cats and big mufflers. That car is estimated at 430 + hp but we can't be 100% certain because no one can quantify the true PDK drivetrain loss for me until we build a 6-spd exactly the same way and do a back to back.

Quick question. Any benefit to switching out to an IPD Plenum on a 991 Carrera S? Upside, downside?
Also, how much work is involved switching it out?
