Garage Decorations/Memorabilia
I am looking for some additional garage decoration ideas. Despite some framed vintage Porsche posters surrounding my C4S, my walls look empty. What are some of the things you guys have done?

Take some high res pics of your car and have a few blown up poster size. Don't know what your budget is but ebay has various size Porsche posters and are relatively inexpensive. Poster frames can be had at Wal-Mart.02 T

Check out Eduardo's. Z356. Assuming of course you're going for a look that makes the Porsche museum look kinda plain.,...https://rennlist.com/forums/991/7085...e-and-you.html

That's a good idea on the metal signs. I think I may add some Porsche-related names, like Pirelli, Mobil 1 and Gulf. I'm having trouble finding Martini or Rothmans though.
Alternatively, I saw a lot of patches for the same names listed above, including Martini, Rothmans, and Brumos. If mounted nicely that could add some color to the garage as would the signs.
I have managed to keep the garage empty except for our cars, however the stark white walls are grating on me. I never thought of decorating a garage before, however we always enter and exit through it. It's kind of nice to have something to look at besides hospital white.
Wow, Eduardo's garage looks awesome in that avatar picture. I love the vintage steering wheels. Makes me think I need to get some vintage auto parts to use as cabinet/door pulls in the adjoining tool room!

Click the expand button to get high resolution images. I cropped a bunch of these to 18x24, sent them to Shutterfly, and got totally decent looking posters. I think the cost was like $1.10 each after applying coupons. Then I bought 18x24 poster frames from Amazon for like $11 each. Garage looks good. I can try to dig up a photo of the finished product if someone wants.
Also, my two cents re blowing up photos of the cars: it looks cheesy. I did this for a bunch of professional track photos, and it looks strange to have a bunch of full-color snapshots tacked to the wall in 18x24 or 24x36. I think they would probably look ok if retouched artistically in sepia or Instagram or whatever, but I didn't like them as is.

It's just one man's angle on garage decorating...using old enamel signs, auto memorabilia, rally plates, badges, rally time pieces, steering wheels, etc. Hope some of the ideas help!

Thanks_nuts. But I am not that much into neon signs. As close as I got to it were the rear factory lights on my BMW z8. Interestingly enough, they were 'neon' low-pressure gas-discharge. Quite attractive too! My was the Euro type (yellow/red) as seen in the photo below. But think about that...what other rear tail lights from any auto manufacturer have you ever seen that are 'neon' gas?
