Default What out of the ordinary cars have you seen today?

This has been a fun thread type on another forum I'm on maybe others will share cars they come across. Saw this 904 Carrera GTS at a charity car show in Victoria BC Sunday.

It is actually owned out of Vancouver, but is apparently being restored by Rudi Koniczek (the Gullwing guru). It looks pretty flawless now. Prior to this I've only seen one in the Porsche Museum.

Here you go. It's a Washington car, apparently 1 of 26.

My wife and I walk around the neighborhood quite often. On our walk, we go past a Ferrari dealership, a Macleran dealership, an Aston Martin and Lamborghini dealership and last but not least, a Rolls, Bently and Bugatti dealership...

Nothing too out if the ordinary...

Today was interesting morning started with an Aston Martin DB7 Zagato, one of 99 cars made worldwide (12 cylinder, handmade alu body, shortened chassis, sports classic style roof). The one I saw was in a warehouse so my pics doesn't do it justice (it was navy) but here is a similar looking one.

And in the afternoon I came across this GT3RS4 which as one of 28 in RHD in UK was put up for sale at £350,000 ($580,000)! LHD models fetch around £100,000 less ($166,000).

Those are all pretty exotic, how about just plain weird like this Mini Moke that was parked on my street last weekend? Sorry about the fat finger.

Good you didn't ask that question a few days ago...here was my schedule last week:

Pre-Historic Races at Laguna Seca - Saturday & Sunday (where I saw the GTO that sold at Bonhams on Thursday for just $38...million).
Garage Style Magazine 'Garage Tour' on Monday
Automobilia Monterey - Tuesday Morning
Carmel 'Concours-on-the-Avenue' -Tuesday Afternoon
'Carmel Mission Classic' on Wednesday day
'Gordon McCall Motorworks Revival on Wednesday night
Pebble Beach Tour d'Elegance at Carmel on Thursday day
The Quail on Friday day
Porsche Zentrum Party Friday night
Laguna Seca on Saturday
Baja Cantina Panamericana Party on Saturday early evening
Aston Martin Party on Saturday late evening
Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance on Sunday day
Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance Dinner Party early night of Sunday
Gooding Auction - late night of Sunday

What out of the ordinary cars did I see last week...a few. Each and everyone needs to come out to see what happens during this magical week here in Carmel and the Monterey Peninsula every year in mid-August. It's the most magical thing ever for an automotive enthusiast!

But today - Tuesday - the only out of the ordinary thing I saw was a lovely 1961 Chevy Impala Convertible (like the one in the photo but in red) parked on Scenic Road very close to my home.

Saludos,
Eduardo

It was the Monterey photos that encouraged me to start the thread. I probably shouldn't have started with the seven-figure Carrera GTS as cars like the Impala are "out of the ordinary" and interesting to me, but I thought Porsche content might be a safe place to start.

I look forward to your future spottings, and thanks again for the "custom ordering" thread. We love our car's finishing details thanks to your guidance.
