Just got build slot for Carrera S
Hi everyone..
Thank you for all the knowledge and information you have imparted on here
After browsing this forum for the last few months and playing on the car configurator I have finally come up with a car I want and can just about afford.
I just booked my build slot today and am expecting the car some time in mid August.
The more info I get the more I am confused.
What do I need on my car for me ? For resale ? For fun...?
I want to keep the car for at least 3 years and plan to tour and track day with it.
I know most of the extras are subject to an individuals needs and desires but am I missing anything important on my build? Am I wasting my time with anything?
Please let me know what you think... Many thanks..

Congrats, and great build.
Just one thought. Personally, I'm not a big fan of clear tail lights, esp. for white cars (black is ok).

I chose the clear lights when the car was going to be rhodium, I thought they went so well with that colour. But have stuck with them now I have changed to metallic white.

Nice build. .
We have a Carrara White Metallic C4S Cab "in production" now. . anticipate it will be late August arrival in the states. Will be glad to share our build with you via PM if you have any interest.
I agree with deleting the clear tail lights!
Fun to build, a pain to wait, and looking forward to drive!
Cheers

Its the old story of car configurator and real life not really matching up. I will check out the lights again at Porsche when I visit..
Apparently I don't have to "lock" the build in for another week or two so still tinkering around with the smaller, cheaper options...

Three Wheelin'
Nice build. Agree with those who have recommended to drop the clear tails, but it's all a matter of personal taste and preferences. Try to find a white car (you won't find any metallic whites at the dealer, most likely) with clear tails and see what you think.
