Default Finding Out How Many of Your Model Were Made

I recall a website that listed how many vehicles by model (Carrera S, 4S, turbo) and year were produced by region and year. It may have been a trade journal. Anyone know of such as source?

http://www.porschemag.com/render.cfm...uction_volumes

Sort of but I remember a site (not PCNA) that listed units for US by month by model so you really knew how many of you actual car was produced. It listed data in columns like:
MONTH
2S Coupe
2S Cab
4S Coupe
4S Cab
Turbo Coupe
Turbo Cab
GT3

Do you realize you are in the 991 Forum? What series of the 911 are you asking about? The 993? 996? 997?

Type into Google "production volume" and include the specifics for your car's model and year.

And, it won't bee an issue for long. Soon, no new 911's:

End of the road for the Porsche 911
News by Total 911 Team

In a shock move, Porsche has announced that it will cease production of the 911 in 2013, 50 years after the model debuted.

Porsches cites the decision on dwindling sales of the flagship sportscar as buyers favour the larger Cayenne and Panamera, especially in the important emerging market of China. “We can no longer rely on the European and North American markets,” claims Porsche spokesperson Avril Sciocco. “Asia is the future and they want large cars over there.”

Development of the all-new 992 model, which was due to appear, has been shelved and instead the current 991 shall soldier on through 2013. Instead of a final bow-out limited edition 911, Porsche shall produce an ‘Edition 911 50th’ Panamera to celebrate the end of 911 production – further proof that Porsche wants to be seen as a producer of larger cars.

However, 911 fans should not give up hope just yet. A number of parties are interested in taking over production of the iconic sports car, rather like Caterham did with the Lotus Seven. These range from US-based SharksWerks to UK-based Autofarm, and even electric-car maker, Tesla. As yet, though, Porsche has not commented on such plans.

To be precise I meant the 991. When I had my 2007 997 C4S the site I am referring to listed the number of cars produced by specific model. It was interesting to see how many of your model car was actually being made for future provenance. If you are being OCD about record keeping and saving Monroney stickers, dealer POs and such items it is a nice to have for future reference.
