To my eye maritime and voodoo looks almost identical? I've never seen maritime in real world. I know I like voodoo so I'll probably like maritime as well.
Eduardo, does any of these colors have any RS history?
I think gulf blue looks a little "cute" on such a big car like the 1RS! Looks amazing on longhoods!

Photos don't always represent the true color the eye sees. In real life, "Maritime' has a purple tint that I find very appealing. 'Voodoo' is a truer 'blue'.
'Maritime' has some history at Porsche, but it apparently only dates back to the early 1990's. 'Voodoo Blue' also has some history...but at Toyota!

[QUOTE=<3mph;12148674]Is there is a known list of which PTS colours the 4.0 was delivered in? I didn't realize there were so many PTS cars. Thanks in advance
Nope, but I will try to find out asap to see what colors are possible from the 918 sale rep of Asia. Hopefully I can get something from them. I was actually checking registry for the gt3 rs for the 997, I noticed that pts didn't come in until 2011 i think. That's that mean pts won't come until 1-2 years later? But I also noticed that there are new colors each year. I just talked to my rep today, he said if I want one the color available now, my Build date should be July and get it by sep.

To set the record straight, let me re-post my previous answer to this question on another thread:
"Yes, the bulk of true PTS didn't occur until the .2 997 gt3 RS and I have posted about this at length. But remember that PAG was forced to add a 'Carrara White' color option to the 4 initial color choices - RS Green, RS Orange, Black and Silver - right after the MY2007 order books open up. Although it was a standard selection on the .1 997's, PAG treated the color as a PTS request for its gt3 RS customers and charged accordingly!
I'll try to find my old post and re-post it for you. There is no rhyme & reason for decisions at PAG regarding PTS on the gt3 RS. We know it will not follow the script of the MY2007 .1 997 gt3 RS because PAG has already informed PCNA (who has leaked it to us here on Rennlist) that they are considering a limited number of PTS starting shortly. And that is not really what was done with the .1 997 gt3 RS in MY2007, since that action was limited to one color ONLY!
Also note that PAG also allowed PTS on the base gt3 in MY2008. I personally almost bought a MY2008 'RS Orange' base gt3 that was specced beautifully. When I was considering buying it, I was dealing with Sean Harris at the Steve Harris Import operation in Utah. It was a trade in on a Ferrari at that dealership. Some of you might remember this car!"

Hey guys I have a guest ion though... I just checked http://www.gt3rsregistry.com/VINs.htm. From what I see the pts option didn't appear until 2011. Since the 997 rs was released in 2007 and didn't get pts until 2011, does that mean we have to wait a few years to get that pts. I don't think I can't that long, Sigh.

Here is 'Arrow Grey Pearl Metallic' (color code Y66). You decide. Photos don't always represent the true color the eye sees. In real life, "Maritime' has a purple tint that I find very appealing. Maritime Blue first appeared, I think, on the 964 RS and the 964 Speedster. It is a very complex color with, in certain light, a slightly purplish undertone. It is quite an opaque color that holds the surface well. (I may be prejudiced as I have a 964 RS and should have a 991 RS by February - both Maritime Blue)

maritime and voodoo are beautiful.
in regards to McLaren chicane it is halfway between the 3.8RS "grey black" paint and the Arrow Grey porsche color but zero pct metallic.
