I'm in LA today. You guys driving your cars around the west side?
Mine didn't show up at the Bay Area dealer Friday, but I am betting it will this week and I will have time to get it next Friday.

I picked up my car today and took it straight over for rollbar install. It's quite satisfying to drive. Having owned all the GT3 iterations, the most striking thing I first felt, was it feels ponderous compared to the others. It looks more exotic in person, too.
I am not happy with various aspects of the LWB that have previously been discussed. It needs proper halo seats for the track, but I was hoping I would like the LWB more for DD duties. Rake is a bit odd and too anterior. Kind of wish I had the 18-way *** with heating like my old one. I would just exchange them with race shells on track days.

My car is still on the dock. I was told that once it came into port they couldn't track it, and I asked how Porsche could possibly let millions of dollars of inventory go totally untracked? It would be a completely irresponsible way to run a business, not to mention not very German. They then magically figured out it was still sitting in San Diego. I'm becoming a rather unhappy customer.

My original schedule showed two weeks between port of entry and delivery to dealer. An updated schedule prepared while the car was still on the boat also had a two week transport time (although happily the delivery date moved from 4/10 to 3/27). The car arrived at the dealer on 3/26 and I took delivery on 3/27.
I've heard of cars taking longer than two weeks to transport, so while certainly not ideal, it does happen.
Where is the car being delivered? Have you asked your SA what typical transport times are?

The car will be delivered to Palo Alto. My original date was 4/10 as well, but now they are saying 4/6. I guess mine was possibly one of the first ones loaded onto the ship? They say they have no idea how long the transport times are. Seems ridiculous to me - how do you have millions of dollars of inventory in transit and not manage it very well?
