Ive not idea. We are ROW so same cars as UK. RHD. All I know is the 2.7 76s here were all same engine as 2.7RS and most were converted to replica RS. Last one I saw for sale was a targa, rough round the edges and under 40K USD about 9 months ago. They used to come up a couple of times a year. maybe less now. Most were UK imports.

Here's a pic of the real thing, the ORIGINAL...RS....at the track a few years back. There will never be another....but the 991 GT3 is just as good, and VERY different, in it's own way.
I'm completely addicted to the GT3...

How long have you had the RS? Do you take it out to stretch it's legs much?

I've had it for 11+ years. I used to drive it a lot more than I do now, but it still gets plenty of exercise. I've driven it to many club events, RRIV, RGRUPPE and EARLY S stuff....

Gents this just came up for sale in my home town. Not a minter but a 2.7S (same engine as RS) ROW 1974 for under $38,000 USD. Most local enthusiast thread content on this car in the last 24 hrs suggests its over priced locally by 5-8000 usd.

Anyone here want to split the profits with me on 300K USD?

This is definitely not a MFI induction - hopefully the matching case with engine no. 664xxxx for the 1974 911/83 MFI is still there...

the next 73RS is the 11'RS 4.0L

I do not think even the 991 in RS form has a chance of becoming as legendary.....

I think most of the MFI gear on these cars was ripped off in the early 80s as no one locally knew how to set them up (at least thats what I have been told). Im not sure if the 74 2.7s left the factory in two different configurations but the cars here are virtually all 74/75 ROW spec although a few did filter in from Japan and USA in the 90s. I see them pop up for sale 2-3 times a year. None of them are mint.

I believe the Carrera's had the 2.7 MFI from '73 RS.. 911 S was same engine block, but was EFI.
